We are ✨2✨weeks into our Envelope Fundraiser and have had 54 envelopes claimed!! You guys are AMAZING! Last night, a sweet elderly lady who has loved these kids and this mission from before we even named the organization donated $1,000. Her generosity is just one of many stories that we have been humbled and grateful for over the past few weeks.

We’ve posted a video above that is a funs snapshot of the many trades that our Congo cuties are working to learn. The money raised through this fundraiser will all go to buy more supplies for them as they prepare and train to utilize these skills to support themselves.

We are over halfway there, but we still have further to go. Who can claim these envelopes this week?!

Hair Salon!! 💇🏾💇🏾‍♀️

Part of what we are raising through this envelope campaign will go towards helping set up a Hair Salon that will be for men and women in the community where our children are. This is the main priority for the funding at the moment!! Here’s some of our kiddos practicing their skills. We are ✨1✨ week into our Envelope Fundraiser and have had 20 envelopes claimed. We are so grateful but we have a long way to go! Can you donate today to help us get some more checked off?! 💪🏼

Today, our update is about this precious sibling duo- Bisimwa and Ornella. The first photo is them today, and if you swipe, you will see them when they first came to our orphanage in Congo. They came to us after their father was killed in a fishing accident and their mother was assaulted and killed after refusing advances from armed bandits. Their story started out with tragedy, but today they are healthy and thriving. Bisimwa is 13 years old now and he loves to draw, do mathematics, and hopes to become an electrician. Ornella is 11 years old and loves languages; she hopes to become a teacher.

Your prayers and financial support are THE reason that these kids can look forward to their future with hope. Thank you for giving!! If you feel led, share their story with a friend today!!

Happy Wednesday!! You guys have showed up for this fundraiser so far and we are so grateful!

We wanted to share some videos of the sorts of skills that we are raising money for. Soap making and beadwork are two of the skills that our kiddos are working on acquiring. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to help them buy more supplies and equipment to continue developing their skills!

TODAY our goal is to get this whole column funded. Can you give $8, $18, $28, $38….etc.?? Due to the generosity of one of our donors every gift will be MATCHED throughout this fundraiser. So when you give $8 in support, that's actually $16 for our congo cuties. Venmo now to be a part of our fundraiser!!

Today we are kicking off a 3 week envelope fundraising campaign to raise $5,050 for our Congo Cuties!! This money will go specifically to help them buy equipment and supplies to do trades that will help provide for them as they become adults and need to provide for themselves. Supplies for beadwork, a hair salon, sewing, etc. We will share more about this during our fundraiser, so stay tuned!

Our goal is to get every. single. envelope claimed and paid for in the next THREE WEEKS!! This takes full audience participation. How can you contribute?!
1 Pick one (or more envelopes) that fit your budget
2 Venmo the amount that was listed on the envelope of your choice with the comment "change for congo". We'll check it off our tracker as soon as we receive the venmo! (message us if you'd prefer to give by cash or check)
