Our Melanyβs Message:
I chose KDChi because growing up in a predominantly white community, I often struggled to find people who shared my values and cultural background. Joining KDChi gave me a sense of belonging and connection that I had been searching for. Additionally, as a woman in a male-dominated field of study, I wanted to surround myself with strong, independent women who uplift and empower one another. KDChi to me represents sisterhood, culture, and strength, and it has given me a supportive space to grow both personally and professionally. (also, because of Bibi)β¨
