Kappa Kappa Psi & Tau Beta Sigma National Headquarters ΚΚΨ and ΤΒΣ's National Headquarters is one of the groups who help take care of all executive and business strategies for the two organizations.

Kappa Kappa Psi operates primarily as a student service and leadership recognition society whose chief aim is to assist the Director of Bands in developing the leadership and enthusiasm that is required of his/her band. Our goals are to provide the band not only with organized and concentrated service activities, but to give our membership valid and wholesome experiences in organization, leadership and social contacts. The honorary nature of membership is based on our premise that “it is an honor to be selected to serve” this band, its department of music, its sponsoring institution, and the cause of band music in the nation's colleges and universities. Tau Beta Sigma is a highly respected pre-eminent music organization comprised of over 160 collegiate chapters and more than 3,800 collegiate members with a balanced representation of women and men. Strong leadership thrives throughout our organization and we have a solid financial foundation. We cultivate and sponsor a variety of music education programs for our diverse membership and work closely with collegiate band directors. Our alumni association is an integral part of Tau Beta Sigma, promoting diversity efforts, social networking and assisting members in enhancing their professional leadership and employment possibilities after graduation from college. We are connected with music in the community which includes supporting music education at all academic levels.

🎉 Welcome to National Headquarters, Aurora Goodnight! 🎉

Please join us in welcoming Aurora Goodnight as our new Membership Services Coordinator for Kappa Kappa Psi & Tau Beta Sigma! 💙🎶

Aurora is a 2026 graduate of Oklahoma State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Music Industry and performed with the Cowboy Marching Band, Symphonic & Concert Bands, and Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble.

A member of the Alpha Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma, Aurora has served her chapter as Historian, Secretary, and President and previously served as the Southwest District Secretary/Treasurer. She also participated in the National Delegation as a proxy at both the 2023 and 2025 National Conventions.

Aurora brings experience in financial and administrative support, along with a strong background in the college band community, to her new role at National Headquarters.

We’re excited to welcome Aurora to the NHQ team and look forward to the dedication and enthusiasm she will bring to serving the members and chapters of Kappa Kappa Psi & Tau Beta Sigma. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome! 🎺✨

Originally conceived as a celebration of Italian American heritage, Columbus Day was first observed as a federal holiday in 1937. Celebrated on the same day, Indigenous Peoples’ Day is a holiday in the United States that celebrates and honors Indigenous American peoples and commemorates their histories and cultures. First celebrated in Berkeley, California in 1992, this day of celebration is recognized in many areas across the nation.

Kappa Kappa Psi & Tau Beta Sigma join together to recognize the generations of Indigenous Peoples who have positively influenced and enriched our nation and society.

Kappa Kappa Psi & Tau Beta Sigma National Headquarters want to wish all the bands and all our Brothers and Sisters good luck at the Collegiate Marching Band Festival this Sunday! These 18 bands will be performing at the J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown, PA on October 4th.
