Kappa Kappa Psi & Tau Beta Sigma National Headquarters ΚΚΨ and ΤΒΣ's National Headquarters is one of the groups who help take care of all executive and business strategies for the two organizations.

Kappa Kappa Psi operates primarily as a student service and leadership recognition society whose chief aim is to assist the Director of Bands in developing the leadership and enthusiasm that is required of his/her band. Our goals are to provide the band not only with organized and concentrated service activities, but to give our membership valid and wholesome experiences in organization, leadershi

p and social contacts. The honorary nature of membership is based on our premise that “it is an honor to be selected to serve” this band, its department of music, its sponsoring institution, and the cause of band music in the nation's colleges and universities. Tau Beta Sigma is a highly respected pre-eminent music organization comprised of over 160 collegiate chapters and more than 3,800 collegiate members with a balanced representation of women and men. Strong leadership thrives throughout our organization and we have a solid financial foundation. We cultivate and sponsor a variety of music education programs for our diverse membership and work closely with collegiate band directors. Our alumni association is an integral part of Tau Beta Sigma, promoting diversity efforts, social networking and assisting members in enhancing their professional leadership and employment possibilities after graduation from college. We are connected with music in the community which includes supporting music education at all academic levels.

Only 3 days left to complete your 2025-26 membership forms.

All pending Chapter Personnel Updates, Graduating Senior Reports (for graduation dates between 9/1/2025 & 8/31/2026) and Officer & Chapter Updates (with election dates between 9/1/2025 & 8/31/2026) must be completed/processed by August 30. Once the membership year closes, those forms can no longer be processed.

If you have pending Membership Candidate Registrations and Initiate Registrations, those will need to be completed before starting your 2026-27 Chapter Personnel Report.

Kappa Kappa Psi & Tau Beta Sigma National Headquarters is excited to announce Sarah Johnson as our Part-Time Administrative Assistant!

Sarah Johnson is a senior majoring in instrumental music education at Oklahoma State University. She was initiated into the Alpha Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi in the Spring of 2024 and has since served in several leadership roles, including Secretary, President, Chancellor, and Vice President for Leadership Development of the Southwest District. At OSU, Sarah is involved with the Cowboy Marching Band, OSU Concert Bands, and OSU Flute Ensemble. After graduating in the spring, she plans to move to Texas to teach band. Outside of school and music, Sarah enjoys reading, flower Lego sets, and spending time with her friends.

Congratulations and please extend a warm welcome to Sarah!
