EVOLVE Family Services provides a spectrum of programming that is child-centered and trauma-informed. Our priority is to keep children with their families, whether it is their birth parents or relative kin, and encourage open adoptions that establish a child’s connection with their birth parent(s). Our services include:
FOSTER CARE - We offer licensing support, training, and home studies for fami
lies who have taken emergency placement of relative/kin children in out-of-home care, families considering becoming traditional foster care providers meaning they do not have a pre-existing relationship with a child in foster care, and those who would like to be considered a placement option for a relative or kin child in out of home care. PREGNANCY SERVICES - We offer free, unbiased, and non-coercive support to those experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. UMOJA MN - We provide three Black Heritage camps each year. The camps are created to empower adoptive, foster, and relative kin families. ADOPTION - We provide a variety of Domestic Infant programs and assist families with home studies for International Adoption to fit the needs of those families looking to adopt a child. TRAINING AND OTHER SUPPORT- EVOLVE offers a variety of educational and supportive events to promote strong, healthy families. YOUTH SERVICES – We provide targeted services for youth within the foster care system, supporting them with life skills development, housing, education, goal planning, long-term placement, and stability.
