🎃🦃🎄 WE KNOW, WE KNOW… CHRISTMAS ALREADY?!

We haven’t even made it through Halloween OR Thanksgiving yet, and here we are talking about CHRISTMAS!

But hear us out… WE JUST CAN’T CONTAIN OUR EXCITEMENT ANY LONGER!

We’re teaming up with Sam's Christmas Village & Light Tour in Somerset, Wisconsin for another unforgettable Hometown Hero Holiday Night, and trust us, you’re not going to want to miss this one!

Last year, over 500 people braved temperatures around 20 BELOW ZERO to celebrate with us! 🥶❄️ Apparently, a little Minnesota/Wisconsin winter weather can’t stop a good time!

This year, we’re going BIGGER AND BETTER!

🇺🇸 HOMETOWN HERO HOLIDAY NIGHT 2026

HERE’S A LITTLE SNEAK PEEK AT WHAT’S COMING!

• Live music from Chris Kroeze, runner-up on NBC’s The Voice, and Cindy Jo!
• Millions of dazzling Christmas lights
• Emergency vehicles, military & first responder displays
• K9 units and specialty teams
• A visit from Santa himself!
• Family activities, giveaways & more!

AND HERE’S THE BEST PART!

🇺🇸 FREE admission for military members, veterans, law enforcement, firefighters and EMS with valid ID/proof of service!

❤️ HALF-PRICE admission for their immediate family members!

We’re bringing together our military, veterans, first responders and their families for a night filled with appreciation, community and Christmas magic!

So go ahead… carve those pumpkins, eat that turkey, and pretend you’re not already listening to Christmas music. 😂

But MARK YOUR CALENDARS, because December 13th is going to be a night you won’t want to miss!

Check out our Facebook event for all the details, and be sure to share it with your friends and family!

You don't need a therapist. You need your people.

That's the whole point of HHO.

Outside. Shoulder to shoulder. No pressure. No speeches. Just a reset.

Happy Birthday to the United States Navy! ⚓️

For 251 years, the Navy has stood watch—protecting our nation with honor, courage, and commitment. 🇺🇸

Today, Hometown Hero Outdoors proudly recognizes and thanks the sailors, veterans, and families who have served our country. Your dedication and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Meet Bennett Erickson, Field Staff for Team Minnesota! 🇺🇸

Bennett is a U.S. Army veteran who served 10 years in the Infantry, followed by a year as a private military contractor. An avid Minnesota outdoorsman, he hunts all species and enjoys fishing for muskie, walleye, bass, and northern pike using his own homemade secret lures.

While Bennett’s transition to civilian life went well, he has seen too many close friends struggle and lost too many along the way. Through Hometown Hero Outdoors, his goal is to help veterans and first responders find connection, support one another, and heal through the outdoor experiences they love.

We are grateful to have Bennett as part of Team Minnesota! 🎣🦌

Sunrise, Camaraderie & Wigeons 🦆

Two veterans arrived in Dassel Friday night in preparation for an early-morning duck hunt. The evening was spent around a bonfire with good food, great conversation, and some well-earned rest before an even earlier wake-up call.

As the sun rose, the group was settled into the duck blind and ready to go. They harvested a flock of four wigeons and enjoyed a memorable morning in the field together.

An unexpected warm front slowed the duck activity, but nobody went home empty-handed. More importantly, it was a great opportunity for connection, camaraderie, and time outdoors.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this Team Minnesota trip possible! 🇺🇸

You don’t need a speech.
You need a fire.

A few chairs. Cold air. A crew that gets it.
That’s where the weight comes off.

If you’re a veteran or first responder and you’re tired of carrying it alone, DM us. We’ll get you plugged into a free outdoor trip.
