We Are…
Elk members come from every walk of life & join together for common goals including supporting our Veterans, our youth and our local communities. With over 9,000 members in 37 cities throughout Oklahoma, the odds are good that you know or have met an Elk. Our Mission…
To inculcate the principles of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity; to recognize a belief in God; to promote the

welfare and enhance the happiness of its Members; to quicken the spirit of American patriotism; to cultivate good fellowship; to perpetuate itself as a fraternal organization, and to provide for its government, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America will serve the people and communities through benevolent programs, demonstrating that Elks Care and Elks Share. Our Story…
This foundation’s vision for developing children has taken roots in the hearts and minds of a small group of people around the globe as they work together to release communities from poverty. What started as a short mission trip between a group of young people coming together to make a change, this foundation continues to exist as an agency to provide medical, social, psychological and education needs of children and their families. Our Impact…
The Order spends more than $80,000,000 every year for benevolent, educational and patriotic community-minded programs in such fields as benefitting special needs children, sponsoring Elks National Foundation scholarships, scouting, athletic teams, veterans’ works, a national “Hoop Shoot” free-throw contest involving more than 3 million children, physical and occupational therapy programs and patriotic programs. It is for this reason the Elks Drug Awareness Education Program was launched to warn primary grade students and their parents of the dangers in drug use. Additionally, every lodge observes June 14th as Flag Day, a tradition which the Elks began in 1907 and was later adopted by the Congress as an official observance.

Last Thursday, the Broken Arrow Antlers #2673 had an amazing time on our 4th annual trip to the Oklahoma State Capitol! We were honored to be recognized on the Senate floor by Senator John Haste, and he generously treated us to pizza afterward.

During our visit, the Antlers distributed flyers inviting everyone to the Vern Ogden Memorial Root Beer Social hosted by the Elks. In addition, our Antlers’ President had the honor of presenting Antler pins to GER Bryan Klatt and First Lady Sue Klatt.

We also enjoyed a tour of the Capitol and wrapped up the day with a visit to the Oklahoma History Center across the street. Such a fun and memorable experience for everyone involved!

Both entries must also have a cover page with Lodge membership numbers and have the Lodge seal applied. If you need direction, please do not hesitate to reach out to me … I’m in the book. 😊
