EDIT: As of 5 p.m. traffic is being allowed to flow through the scene but emergency personnel remain on scene

Traffic is currently shut down both east and west bound lanes on Highway 412 about a mile east of Gloss Mountain State Park due to a serious multi vehicle accident. Picture taken intentionally does not show vehicles involved in the crash.

PLEASE BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR THIS TORNADO PROBE Weatherford, Texas area and 2-40 miles north/northwest of there!

We launched this rocket into the tornado west of Weatherford from I20. We watched the parachute pop and the sensor was carried up past 3800 feet inside the tornado when we lost the data feed.

Please look for the red parachute!
