We appreciate this thoughtful project these girls completed for our clients 💜

7th & 8th Grade Girls Service Project
Sis. Emily Hertz

The 7th & 8th grade girls learned that we can share the love of Jesus by loving our neighbors and serving others. As part of their service project, the girls assembled goodie bags for the women and children staying at a local women’s shelter.

Through this project, the girls put their faith into action by showing kindness, compassion, and encouragement to families facing difficult circumstances. While the goodie bags met practical needs, they also served as a reminder that God loves them and that they are not forgotten.

“Let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18

We are proud of these young ladies for demonstrating Christ’s love and being a blessing to others in our community.

Our program is grateful for the continuous support of the McAlester Fortnitely GFWC women! These ladies have contributed so much to our program through donations, hosting craft nights, and even purchasing needed items for our shelter.

We were honored to be with them today to speak about our program during their luncheon. Thank you, ladies! You make a difference. 💜
