John Porter w/t University of NH Extension Services stopped by the Poore Farm for a quick visit,
we planted a new post and mounted our “Barn Trail” metal sign.
John is the head of the "NH Barn Task Force” and is developing a state wide Barn Trail and map, like the covered bridges trail.
He also took a look at our restoration work we have been doing in our barn.
In conversation, he was surprised to hear that we never received any NH LCHIP funding.
