Had a great day Friday - the rain didn’t stop us 💪! Sudlersville Elementary School, Sudlersville Middle School, and Church Hill Elementary all had their field days and we are honored to have been a part of them. All students had this year’s field day t-shirts, which were donated by the Foundation and our supporters. High School volunteers showed up to ensure the younger students have a great time and our core leadership team rocked it on site!

Smiles all around, it really was an awesome day. Thank you for letting us be a small part of a day that the kids, both young and old, enjoy so much!

Shout out to Chick-fil-A Kent Island who helps keep our volunteers fueled. We are so grateful for their partnership and dedication to this effort. Thank you!

Field Day season with GTEF is officially underway! We kicked it off yesterday with Beyond Words Tutoring ☀️ What a beautiful day to get outside and have some fun!

We'll see everyone at GES, MES, BES, KIES, SES, CES, CHES, & SMS next week!

We are honored to recognize Danielle Lowe as the recipient of this year's Win the Day Award!

The Win the Day award is presented to someone whose passion drives them to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Never backing down from a challenge, they use their "Win The Day" mentality to make a change!

Ms. Lowe, as she is lovingly known by her students at Kent Island Elementary School, is a true stand out in our community. The positive impact she continues to make on a day-to-day level is truly unsurpassed. She is dedicated and committed to answering daily challenges to ensure that the youngest members of our community have smiles on their faces. Her passion for helping those around her and spreading positivity makes her a wonderful teacher who the youth in our community have grown to love. Whether she is volunteering at the high school snack shack, welcoming her students at drop-off with the biggest smile and wave, or simply checking on a student who needs an extra hug that day, she does it all with so much love and heart. She has a natural ‘Win The Day’ mentality and our community is brighter because of it.
