The school year is coming to a close but there is a lot of learning left to do! Are you an employee of QACPS in need of funding for a project or lessons supporting future business leaders? Apply for the new Leadership Mini-Grant, made available through generous support from Fields Of Heather Bakery, LLC. Email with any questions or to receive an application. Applications are due June 1st. Grant funding may be requested for the 2026-2027 school year.

Thanks to the continued generous support from the The Jacob Sloan Foundation we are excited to announce the first annual "Love Like Jake Arts Education Grant" to support funding requests for Arts Education and Arts Integration in the classroom. This grant was developed to honor Jacob's birthday (February) and his passion for the arts. We are excited to hear your ideas for projects and materials that will foster a love for arts education for current and future students in Jacob's memory.
Please reach out with any questions or clarifications. Multiple grants may be awarded. Deadline to apply is February 16. Winners will be notified at the end of February and recognized at the March QACPS Board of Education Meeting!

The "Name a Grant" initiative is off and running! Congrats to Queen Anne's County High School for being the first recipient of a "Grandma Maddy's Library Fund" grant. Each November, teachers may apply to strengthen their classroom libraries thanks to a generous private donation.
