Make time to visit Stevenson Community Library together . . .

A good story is even more enjoyable when you have someone to share it with. Reading the same book as a family turns it into a shared experience, giving kids a chance to get excited about the story, hear different perspectives, and have meaningful conversations along the way. Whether you take turns reading pages, discuss your favorite parts, or listen to an audiobook together, it’s a simple way to connect without screens.

A HUGE thank-you to the Stevenson Farmers Market for thinking of our community and donating $10 gift certificates for National Night Out! 💚 (BTW--they donated way more than the three shown in the photo!!)

While the Stevenson Farmers Market won't have a booth at National Night Out, they dropped by with these generous gift certificates for us to share with our community. We've tucked them into a few random Take-Home Backpacks for kids to discover!

And trust us—these bags are definitely worth a parent snagging when you get home. Once you're settled in with a little space on your kitchen table or coffee table, take a peek inside! You'll find resources and goodies from our amazing community partners. You might discover something new and fun for your family to do, find a resource that can support your family, or even uncover a gift card or prize! 🎁

The Stevenson Farmers' Market, operated by the Stevenson Downtown Association, is a seasonal Saturday market held at the beautiful Stevenson Waterfront from mid-June through mid-October. Open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the market is all about enhancing the quality of life in Skamania County—and we're so grateful for their support of National Night Out and our community!

Thank you, Stevenson Farmers Market, for helping us make National Night Out even more special! 💚

KIDS: go to booth #36 -- teal booth for One Prevention Alliance -- and grab your free backpack!!

🗳️ A Friendly Reminder About Primary Election Ballots

Primary Election ballots are due on Tuesday, August 4! It’s always best to drop your ballot off sooner rather than later—so it doesn’t accidentally get forgotten on the kitchen counter! 😊

National Night Out Parking Reminder:
We are keeping the driveway and courthouse parking lot OPEN for those who need to drop off their ballots.

If you are attending National Night Out, please park:

* In either parking lot at Stevenson Elementary, or
* Along the surrounding neighborhood streets where parking is permitted.

Please do not park in the courthouse parking lot unless you are there to conduct specific business at the courthouse.

Thank you for helping us keep access open for voters—and for helping make National Night Out a great community event! ❤️
