The Klaiber Foundation Annual Golf Tournament

The Klaiber Foundation Annual Golf Tournament A nonprofit 501(c)(3) that benefits local organizations who help to give hope and save lives. Giving Back.

Giving Hope & Saving Lives One Drive, One Putt at a Time! This foundation and the event is more than just a golf tournament, it is a memorial to Martin Klaibers' life, who he was as a person, and continuing his legacy as his organ and tissue donations give others a second chance at life. We are giving back to three local community organizations who help save lives every day, drive awareness about

the importance of organ and tissue donation and help save the lives of countless animals. These 501(3c) organizations: Infinite Legacy (formerly Washington Regional Transplant Community), the Loudoun First Responders Foundation, and Tails of Hope in Mt Airy, MD. Infinite Legacy (Formerly The Washington Regional Transplant Community) is a nonprofit organ procurement organization (OPO) serving almost 10 million people in Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, DC. They facilitate organ, eye and tissue donation and educate people about the critical importance of registering to be a donor. They are passionate about giving life and restoring hope while honoring the legacy and generosity of donors and providing care to their families.

Tails of Hope(www.tails-of-hope.org) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, based in Maryland. Their mission is to significantly reduce the number of homeless and euthanized dogs and cats, to improve the quality of life of both pets and shelter animals, and to ensure the compassionate treatment of all living creatures through spay and neuter, humane education, medical sponsorship of shelter animals in need, resource development and sharing, and animal advocacy and wellness.

The Loudoun First Responders Foundation (lfrf.org) serves the community by providing immediate financial support to active first responder personnel in their time of need. To accomplish this mission, the LFRF raises private donations by creating and strengthening innovative partnerships between organizations, individuals and corporate neighbors in the community. Donations received are also used to support educational needs of the sheriff, fire, rescue and police organizations in our community. The three community organizations below exemplify a purpose of giving and saving lives. Year after year, we are excited to be supporting each one. Portions of the proceeds from this charitable event will be donated to each organization, in loving memory of Martin Christopher Klaiber who strived to help others every day of his life and continues to give hope through his organ and tissue donations.
