POPCORN FRIDAYS!!

We're looking for both volunteers and sponsors for Popcorn Fridays for the upcoming school year. Sign up here: https://tinyurl.com/ysa47ara

Volunteers: 3 volunteers needed each month from approximately 8am-11am to put popcorn and Dum Dums into individual bags for each child.
Sponsors: $125 for each month to fund the popcorn.
Checks can be written to Washington Tiger PTO and dropped off at the front office, or money can be sent to the PTO's Venmo https://account.venmo.com/u/washingtontigerpto

(Our popcorn machine is currently down, so popcorn will be purchased from the movie theatre and divided up until a decision is made on if a new machine will be purchased or not.)

The Quarts for a Cause fundraiser kicks off Thursday at back to school night. Make sure to bring cash or a card and start the year off with a sweet treat while helping support our school. You can also tell your family and friends to participate as well by placing their order with the store and mentioning the Washington fundraiser by September 4th.

PTO is so excited to see you all at back to school night next Thursday. We’re kicking off the school year full force and teaming up with ice cream to make it happen🍦 Be sure to stop in the cafeteria and take part of Quarts for a Cause. Baskin-Robbins will be selling quarts of ice cream (to be picked up at a later date) for $10 each and Washington School will get $4.50 back from each quart sold! Bring your cash or card to take part and let’s celebrate the start of the school year with the taste of success 🐯

The numbers from Race for Education are in and YOU helped raise a total of $17,979!! Congratulations and THANK YOU to everyone who supported this event through your time, donations, and positive support for our students, teachers, administrators, and Washington Elementary school community!!!
The event brought in $14,129 from individuals in support of our student participants, and $3,850 from Business and Community Sponsors. Huge thank you to everyone who helped make this possible!!

Thank you for donating! Together, we've reached our $17,000 goal for new music risers! Thanks to many community donations, along with a $5,000 donation from the Seramur Family Foundation, we've reached the finish line! Way to go, TIGERS! The risers have been purchased and will be at the school soon! Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible and Happy Summer!

The 2025-2026 school year is done! ✅

The PTO would like to thank Rainbow Snow for distributing sno cones to the students today!

The PTO was not affliated with this event, but it sounded fun! The amount of thanks we took today for something we didn't set up was overwhelming!

We had a lot of events that we did sponsor these last few weeks though and we'll be sharing highlights of these over the coming weeks! From Teacher Appreciation Week to Raising for Risers to Race for Education, we had an amazing May!
