Calling All Portage County 4-H Leaders! Help Shape the Future of Portage County 4-H! Join us at our next meeting on Thursday Oct 22 at 6pm.
As we prepare for our upcoming board member elections for the Portage County 4-H Leaders Association, we are asking all of our 4-H leaders to consider stepping up and getting involved!
Our 4-H program is successful because of the dedicated leaders who give their time, energy, and heart to our youth. To keep our program growing, thriving, and exciting for future generations, we need new voices, fresh ideas, and people who are willing to help make a difference.
You might be thinking, “I already have a lot on my plate!” We understand! Serving on the board doesn't have to mean a huge time commitment. These positions are manageable, and having more people involved helps share the responsibilities and bring new perspectives to the table.
You don't have to have all the answers or years of experience on a board to make a difference. You simply need to care about 4-H and be willing to share your ideas, work with others, and help move our program forward.
Every leader has something valuable to contribute. Whether you've been involved for years or are newer to the 4-H family, your voice matters! New ideas and different perspectives are what help keep our program fresh, relevant, and full of opportunities for our members.
Please consider putting your name forward for a board position. Don't assume someone else will step up — you could be exactly the person our 4-H program needs!
Let's work together to keep Portage County 4-H strong, growing, and providing wonderful opportunities for our youth for years to come.
