Sweet Adelines Center Point Chorus

Sweet Adelines Center Point Chorus Real Women. Real Harmony. Real Fun. We meet every Tuesday at 6:45 - 8 :45 pm at Harmony House.

Our chorus is affiliated with Sweet Adelines International, a non-profit organization founded in 1945. We perform within the community, produce an annual show, and compete annually with other regional choruses from our organization. Our membership consists of women from cities throughout Central Wisconsin and represents all walks of life.

Calling all female Acapella singers...we need YOU! We need your voice to join us in singing The Star Spangled Banner at the Wausau Woodchucks game on July 21st. Plenty of time to learn your notes, whether it's Lead, Tenor, Baritone or Bass. If you don't want to come alone bring a friend, a daughter, a niece, a neighbor or anyone you know that likes to sing. We'd love to see you on our rehearsal nights on Tuesdays from 6:45 to 8:45 at our wonderful venue at the Harmony House, 3500 Harmony Lane, Stevens Point. International just announced yesterday of a new name change. Instead of Sweet Adelines international we are changed to SingUnited International. Only the name has changed, all other things remain the same. The new website is already set up so you can look there for more information. We will still all be sisters and song and singing our beloved a ca****la music.

Sorry, but we need to cancel chorus rehearsal this evening on May 19. Seems that a few girls are out with a cold so are staying home to recuperate. Hope to see everyone back next week.

We had a wonderful time at our awards banquet at Amber Grill. Thanks to Mary for preparing it. Allison earned the Woman of Note and SALLY awards, thanks to all she contributes to our chorus. Sheila installed our new board members. Kay was recognized for all her work as treasure and being our co-Director. Of course we sang some songs also.
