Looks like the Office of Sustainability has a lot of cool stuff planned for Earth Week (April 18th-25th). It would be great to get a lot of folks participating in some of these events, so we are encouraging you all to share this poster and see how many people we can get involved in Earth Week!

Also, it looks like there is free coffee at all the starred events, if you bring your own cup. So, if for nothing else, participate for the coffee, people! And, as always, have a great day!

At the meeting we will be sort of initiating the new board members and thanking the old, so it should be real good fun. Please feel free to come and support our new board members as they take on their positions!

Hey all you Habitually Habitatting Facebookers!

First of all, Happy Monday! Hope everyone is having a good one.

Second of all, since the involvement fair was last week, our first meeting will be held tomorrow (Tuesday, Feb 3rd) at 7:00 pm in room 103A of the Library. That's the room with all the windows next to the access services desk in the main lobby area.

Be advised, our meetings will no longer be held in the DUC, so don't look for us there.

At the meeting we will be discussing important events happening this semester, our next build days, and our Spring Break Trip! Please try and stop by, especially if this is your first meeting with us, so you can meet everyone. And feel free to bring a friend or two.

We hope to see everyone there!

Who's ready to eat cookies and watch ELF?!

*the masses assemble like undead cookie monsters*

First of all, we hope everyone's fall semester is coming to a peaceful, leisurely close!

That last sentence was only a little bit satirical. :)

Second, we wanted to remind everyone that we are having our last meeting of the semester tomorrow (Tuesday, 12/9) at 7pm in DUC 211.

This meeting will be doubling as our holiday party, so all are invited to wear their ugliest christmas sweaters, and if you would like to participate in our cookie exchange, please bring two-dozen cookies separated into two, single-dozen bags. One bag will be eaten during the meeting, and the other will be used for an exchange game we will be playing later in the meeting.

Obviously, the most important part of this post and the moment you have all been waiting to hear more about, we will be watching Elf and enjoying snacks and hot chocolate (as if cookies weren't enough).

So bring your kids and your wife out of hiding for this tremendous UWSP Habitat holiday event! We look forward to seeing everyone there!
