𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗝𝗢𝗜𝗡 𝗨𝗦 𝗩𝗜𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗔𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗟 𝟮𝟭𝗦𝗧 & 𝗠𝗔𝗬 𝟭𝟵𝗧𝗛 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟮:𝟯𝟬-𝟭:𝟯𝟬𝗽𝗺 for our 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗣𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁-𝗨𝗽𝘀! These interactive sessions will be held by a current ODC Peer Mentor. April's topic is "Watch Party - Change not Charity," & May's topic is "Just Ask - How to Talk to Your Doctor."
The goal of these sessions are to show you what Peer Mentoring is like, and these topics are relevant to anyone with a disability who has a goal of 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙-𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 & 𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗪𝗧𝗛!

Last year, we supported Food For Health's six-month Food is Medicine program, bringing together healthy, medically tailored meals, nutrition education, and personalized coaching for older adults. 🍎 🥬 🥕

Participants saw improvements in blood pressure, blood glucose, and overall well-being, while gaining confidence to make healthier food choices. For many, weekly coaching calls became a meaningful check-in, supporting both healthier eating and a stronger sense of connection
