We’re proud to announce a new three-year partnership with Envision Greater Green Bay, the recipient of Common Good Philanthropies’ 2026 Strategic Funding Award.

Through this partnership, Envision will bring Strategic Foresight to Wisconsin nonprofits serving the long-term services and supports (LTSS) ecosystem. The initiative will help nonprofit leaders scan for emerging trends, navigate change, and strengthen their organizations’ ability to plan for what lies ahead.

Beginning this fall, we hope to hear from nonprofits across the sector through a Statewide Discovery Survey to help identify current realities, challenges, and priorities. Those findings will inform Strategic Foresight learning opportunities that will continue to evolve throughout the partnership.

Together, our goal is to support a more connected, resilient, and forward-looking nonprofit ecosystem across Wisconsin LTSS.

Everyone deserves to be heard, especially as they age. 💙

At Common Good Philanthropies, we support organizations that help older adults live with dignity, independence, and choice. That's why we're proud to partner with the Wisconsin Board on Aging and Long-Term Care.

They’re looking for Volunteer Advocates in Chippewa, Clark, and Eau Claire counties. By volunteering, you have the ability to empower residents in long-term care settings while building meaningful relationships to ensure their voices are being heard.

A few hours of your time can make a lasting difference in someone's life.

At Common Good Philanthropies, grantmaking begins with relationships—and our Program Officer, Michelle Bella, brings that belief to every conversation.

With more than a decade of experience supporting Wisconsin’s long-term services and supports network, she leads our grantmaking with warmth, curiosity, and care. She listens closely, asks thoughtful questions, and makes space for the ideas, challenges, and possibilities nonprofit leaders are carrying.

This relationship-centered approach is helping shape Common Good as more than a funder. We strive to be a trusted partner—connecting organizations, encouraging collaboration, and helping big, bold ideas grow into innovative solutions and lasting change.

Nonprofit organizations are welcome to connect with Michelle throughout the year. Together, we can explore alignment, share what communities are experiencing, and imagine what may be possible.

Each conversation brings us closer to a world of Commonunity® where people of all abilities thrive. https://www.commongoodwi.org/contact

💙 Peer Mentors bring something to the table that no training can teach: lived experience.

Their firsthand perspective on navigating disability, employment, independence, and self-advocacy helps build trust, strengthen person-centered services, and inspire others to see what is possible.

We're thrilled to support Aptiv as they continue to grow their Peer Mentoring program through a Common Good Philanthropies grant. Together, we're helping create meaningful employment opportunities and empowering people with disabilities to serve as leaders, role models, and mentors in their communities.

If you would like to learn more about Peer Mentoring and how you can get involved contact Aptiv at [email protected] or submit a referral here: https://www.aptiv.org/services/service-referral-form

Meet Candise Miller, Executive Director of Common Good Philanthropies.

Since our organization began in 2023, Candise has helped turn a shared vision of hope for a world of Commonunity® into a growing statewide organization dedicated to improving the lives of older adults and people of all abilities. Under her leadership, we have launched our inaugural grantmaking cycles, built partnerships across Wisconsin, supported transformative initiatives, and continued to evolve as Common Good Philanthropies.

Candise is passionate about bringing people together around bold ideas that create lasting change. She believes meaningful partnerships, collaborative leadership, and thoughtful philanthropy are key to building stronger communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Building stronger communities takes all of us. If you're interested in partnering, collaborating, or learning more about our work, we'd love to connect. https://www.commongoodwi.org/about

For years, Russell was a familiar face in his community through both work and volunteering. After a series of life changes and time away from employment, he wasn’t sure if returning to work was possible. Today, he is thriving in a role where he feels valued, connected, and proud to contribute to his community once again.

Stories like Russell’s are why we invest in employment services through grantees like Portal, inc Grafton. We are proud to support grantees that help people build confidence, purpose, and belonging close to home. 💙
