We have this private Facebook group so that members can be candid about issues such as birthing, breastfeeding, potty training and the like. All members, male and female, are welcome and encouraged to as

k and answer questions. However, we do ask that all members of our private Facebook group reside in Central Wisconsin so our conversation remains efficient and relevant. Our physical presence centers in Stevens Point, WI, but reaches into the surrounding counties as well. This group of parents plans community-focused events that benefit everyone in an equitable way. In December we host the Gift of Regiving event in which we collect and redistribute holiday gift items to families throughout the community. We have also built and continue to sponsor the Little Free Library in K.A.S.H. Look for our Family Sanctuary at local events and enjoy a peaceful, private environment to breastfeed, change a diaper or simply get away from it all. Central Wisconsin Holistic Families is not a non-profit group. We are simply a community group that strives to link families interested in breastfeeding, cloth diapering, and natural birthing as well as provide platforms of discussion in subjects like natural remedies, healthy eating and wellness, natural cleaning, organic gardening and food preserving, attachment parenting and child rearing, baby wearing, and environmental stewardship among others. We in no way discriminate against not being fully engaged in a total holistic lifestyle. We are all on this journey together and have something to learn and share with everyone. Check out this amazing mom!

Yesterday I ran a half marathon at five months postpartum. I had to leave at 4:30am and the race started at 6:45am. I nursed my daughter before I left my house, pumped after running the first 8 miles and nursed her after I made it past the finish line. This group and Le leche league motivated me to find a way to run my race and take care of my daughter.
