Welcome to the WIsconsin League of Musky Anglers (WILMA) Tuesday night musky fishing league. We are a Tuesday night musky fishing league based in central Wisconsin. The goals of the league are to promote camaraderie and sportsmanship among members and to enhance the musky fishing experience on the Wisconsin River and its flowages. The money raise
d by our league is used for musky stocking efforts in the central Wisconsin area. WILMA works with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to stock muskies fitted with PIT (Passive Integrated Transponder) tags to use in their research. In 2016 WILMA Stocked over 200 Musky yearlings in Lake Dubay. In 2014 WILMA stocked over 600 musky yearlings in a combined effort with the 12 Apostles Musky Club. In 2013 WILMA stocked 256 musky yearlings in the Wisconsin River. In 2010 WILMA donated $1000 towards the 12 Apostles Musky Club's stocking efforts. There is one season that runs from May to August.
2. Fishing times will be from 4 pm to 9 pm every Tuesday or Wednesday during the league calendar.
3. Each week contestants must register by 3 PM CDT on the day they are going fish (Tuesday or Wednesday) to advise which day they are going to fish for that week.
4. The fishable waters are the Wisconsin River from Lake Wausau (inclusive) south to Lake Petenwell.
5. Normal DNR regulations apply in regards to number of lines, lures, etc. Trolling is allowed.
6. All catches must be called into the designated WILMA board member and the required photo taken.
7. A fish 34" or larger can be counted towards a league catch no matter what the regulations are on the particular body of water. Points are awarded based on the length of the fish.
8. Tournament play is based on individual, not a team effort.
9. At the end of the season cash payouts and trophies are awarded based on the points accumulated. Members, please review the WILMA musky league regulations for the complete rules and guidelines. They can be viewed in the forums. WILMA has a full board of directors to help promote the club and ultimately encourage a quality musky fishing experience for its members.
