As PWA continues the dissolution process, members voted on how they would like to see how our remaining assets will be used to support local kiddo's in our community that involves outdoor education and fishing opportunities. Donation checks were issued and delivered to Karla Lockman from Boston School Forest ($2000), Danielle Belsky from Boys & Girls Clubs of America ($2000), and Dawn Cherek from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Wisconsin ($1898.43). We feel that these community donation choices will continue to assist our efforts to educate local kiddos to the outdoors and teach basic fishing skills that lead to future angling adventures. Please feel free to reach out to these entities if you would like to assist as a volunteer during the fishing programs. Thank you to all our valued Partners, Sponsors, Members, and family and friends who kept our vision going for 25 years!! Get up, do something....Get involved!

Tonight the Prime W.A.T.E.R Anglers met for their final Christmas party as a Club. It doesn't mean that we wont continue the tradition as we've made great friends along the way and have enjoyed each other's company, it will be hard to not gather. We've decided to start a new Chapter. "The Friends of PWA". We're so proud of what we've accomplished and look back at all the years of hard work, and dedication. Merry Christmas to everyone and many blessings to all as we head into the new year. Thank you to all have supported us through the years. If we made a difference in just one child's life we're pretty darn happy of our accomplishment!

🎣 Last Thursday marked the final chapter for the Prime W.A.T.E.R Anglers.

To commemorate 25 incredible years, we proudly installed a beautifully crafted metal art piece 🖼️✨ on the light pole at the Bukolt Park boat landing. This spot was especially fitting, as the club has completed so many projects here over the years:

⚓ Structural improvements to the boat landing
🛶 New docks
🪑 A concrete bench at the end of the pier
🦺 A life jacket station
♿ Handicapped-accessible docks in the lagoon
🚤 A shoreline dock south of the beach
🚶‍♂️ The most recent sidewalk from handicapped parking to the pier

Beyond these, we hosted countless Kids Day programs 👧👦🎉, sharing our passion for fishing and the outdoors with the next generation.

We’ve truly left our mark all throughout Bukolt Park 🌳, and it was only right to leave one final impression for all to see and remember the club by. 💙

A huge thank you to Droptine Fabrication LLC 🙌 for turning our vision into reality and creating this stunning masterpiece. The commemorative art shroud will forever honor what the Prime W.A.T.E.R Anglers stood for — dedication, community, and 25 years of memories. 🐟💫

I was rewarded this morning early as I removed the fencing from the ADA sidewalk we recently installed at Bukolt Park boat ramp. Matt from Taps and Tackle Co. Gave us words of praise for our work as he was picking up clients for the morning. Michael, Susie, and Sam were the very first people to use the new sidewalk to get to the gated cement pier, that made our efforts sooo worthwhile! It sure was a satisfying morning as Jan, Joe, and I continued spreading dirt and seed and installed a new sign on the light pole fabricated by Droptine Fabrication LLC of Stevens Point.
We have one more unique sign to install as our last addition to this wonderful park. I hope you all enjoy the work we have done to the many water access points in Portage County. We are all proud of our community projects and accomplishments, please help us take care of them for future generations to enjoy..... it's been a great pleasure!

🌟 Access for All at Bukolt Park! 🌟

Last night marked the completion of a very special project — the new concrete sidewalk at Bukolt Park is now finished! This path connects the handicapped parking stall at the boat landing directly to the concrete pier, making it easier than ever for individuals with disabilities to access the docks and enjoy all the beauty the Wisconsin River has to offer.

Whether it’s a peaceful day out on the water, an evening of fishing from the pier, or simply soaking in a stunning sunset — this improved access makes it possible for everyone.

This final phase would not have been possible without the dedication of the Prime W.A.T.E.R. Anglers volunteers. Huge thanks to Jan, Chad, Jeff, Joe, John, Dusty, Lee, and Brayden for their hard work last night and throughout the project.

This was the last project from the Prime W.A.T.E.R. Anglers, and we hope that all who visit and use this space will enjoy it for years to come — and recognize the heart and effort that went into making it a reality.

🌅 Prime W.A.T.E.R. Anglers Final Project at Bukolt Park 🌅

We’re excited to share the progress of our final project at Bukolt Park — a new sidewalk leading from the handicapped parking stall directly to the concrete pier by the boat landing. Our hope is that this addition makes it easier for everyone to enjoy the newly redone docks, relax at the end of the pier, or simply take in an unobstructed view of the sunset.

This marks the last of many projects our club has proudly completed at Bukolt Park over the years. Countless hours of labor — all volunteered by our members — have gone into these improvements, and we couldn’t be happier to leave this lasting contribution for the community.

We hope everyone enjoys these upgrades for years to come, and we thank you for supporting the Prime Water Anglers in making access to our waters more enjoyable for all. 💚🎣
