Eighth grader Damian Roderique and sophomore Hunter Kirpatrick are a part of the O.V.R.T (Ohio Valley Robotics Team) based here in Steubenville. O.V.R.T is a team open to all students from any school from their 8th grade through senior year and seeks the promotion of STEM within students, community outreach, and teamwork-building skills. The team traveled to Cleveland for the FIRST Robotics Buckeye Regional Competition last week and their team finished 29th out of 56 teams. Their team also won the 2025 Imagery Award! They ranked 22 in state and qualified for the state tournament on May 10 in Columbus!
