Circus Tickets - The bank is now closed for ticket sales. These are now available to purchase online at https://www.cmcircus.com/ (then click on tickets) at a price of $8.75 for Child/Senior and $14.75 for Adult. You can buy online until 10pm SUNDAY and pick up at Ticket Box Office the day of the show. After that, all ticket sales will be at the gate of the show at a slightly higher price than the presales.

THANKS TO EVERYONE who has purchased a ticket and supported another local fun event for families!

We would like to let you know that we do have some adult and children tickets currently available at the bank that have been generously donated by other parties. If you would like to attend the circus, and are unable to purchase a ticket, please send a private message to us, and we can arrange for you to received some of the donated tickets. This will be on a first-come first-serve basis. We thank those who have donated these tickets!

A Couple Announcements:

1) **LAST CALL**for discounted presale tickets.
Ways to Purchase:
🎟️ At the Bank (can preorder through Venmo to ), but MUST BE PICKED UP BY 3PM on FRIDAY!! No Ticket Sales at the bank after this time.
🎟️ Purchase Online and pick up at Will-Call the day of the show. These can be purchased until Sun 9/6 at 10pm with a small online processing fee. Link in Comments!!
🎟️ Purchase at the gate the day of the show.
As a reminder, presale tickets are discounted and the price will be slightly higher on the day of the show. In addition, the SCA earns more money on these advance sales tickets, so advance sales are appreciated!

2) Location - Sterling Baseball Field Parking Lot. You will enter the circus from Broadway Street.

3) Parking suggestions include: Football Field Parking Lot, High School Parking Lot; Broadway Street through downtown

4) Tent Raising Ceremony** at 9:30am on Monday 9/7/2026 that is FREE to the public! They offer a tour of the circus grounds which includes watching the tent raising and getting to meet the animals up close and personal, and learn about the routine and care, and get lots of information about the show's daily operations.

🥰🎪❤️ Local Community Members --- As you have heard, the circus is coming to town on Labor Day. We have had a couple people message us stating they would maybe like to donate tickets. If any person or business would like to sponsor some tickets to be donated to any families in need, feel free to message us or stop at the bank to purchase an allotment of tickets of your choice and the SCA can make sure that they are provided to families who may not be able to purchase them at this time. ❤️🎪🥰

We're looking for cooks and vendors for our annual BBQ competition on September 20th.

BBQ'ers Information:
$50/team
Meat provided
Prize Categories: Ribs, Pork Butt, and People's Choice
Enter by August 31st

Vendors:
No fee entry
Setup 6-8 pm downtown
Must provide table, chairs, etc.

🎪CIRCUS UPDATE: TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR SALE STARTING MONDAY AUGUST 3RD!!

🎟️ Cash or Check to SCA - Pick up at the Bank in Sterling
🎟️ Venmo - Prepay and have ready for pick up at the Bank in Sterling. Venmo to and specifically state number of tickets needed.

🎡 Circus in Sterling Monday 9/7/26 (Labor Day)

The SCA is happy to announce that we have arranged for the Culpepper & Merriweather Tent Circus to come back to town on Labor Day, Monday 9/7/26 for two afternoon shows at 2:00 and 4:30.

Pre-Sale tickets will be $14/adult and $8/child (age 2-12) and $8/senior (age 65+). Tickets at the door will be $17 for adult and $10 for child/senior. Your ticket purchase is good for either showtime!

Tickets cover the cost of entry to the circus. There will also be additional things available such as the concessions, pony rides, bounce house, etc for an additional cost on the day of the show.

‼️➡️ Please note that the SCA and our community will be most profitable in hosting this event with the sale of ADVANCE/IN PERSON ticket sales, so if you plan to attend, we would encourage you to buy your ticket in advance of the show date instead of at the gate on day of show (where they are also more expensive!!).
