Giving Power to Adolescents Giving Power to Adolescents (GPA) seeks to give youth the tools necessary to have a voice in our community. GPA is also sponsored by the Sterling Township.

To all current members. Our Christmas party is this Monday, December 16th at 6:15pm at Rock Falls Candlelight. We have a room reserved in the back. This takes the place of our meeting at the CFY. We will however be voting on a few items, upcoming events, etc. We always dress up for our meetings but it will be fun if you dress in your holiday best. This is just for current members only. If you have attended 3 consecutive meetings then you are a member. GPA is picking up the tab. If you have any questions please feel free to ask either on here or PM me.

Sterling Townships Giving Power to Adolescents is selling earrings that they made to help pay for some of their programs. These high school kids did 88 hours of service for our community in the month of October alone. The trees and snowmen are Sterling Silver and Swarovski , the heart ones are made from Mother of Pearl. They are all $20 a pair and all monies go to the program. Consider shopping for your moms, grandmoms, aunts, sisters, friends, girlfriends for Christmas....AND contribute to a good cause.....PM me if interested and we will set a time to meet at The Center for Youth.

If you have little brothers and sisters bring them to the Center for Youth to trick or treat on Halloween. Santa Claus and the Grinch will be there handing out treats! 312 E. 4th Sterling, 4:30-6:30. Students up to 8th grade are welcome! Any questions call me at 815-716-8665.
