We still need funds for our stray family BUT we’re pausing on that for a minute to introduce you to another one of our adoptable cats who will be at Pet Supplies Plus on Saturday- Cecily!

Meet Cecily is a beautiful young tabby with opinions, boundaries, and a whole lot of love for other cats.

While some cats want to be the center of attention, Cecily’s heart belongs to her feline friends. She dreams of snuggling them, grooming them, napping with them, and generally spending every waking moment in their company. Because of that, she’s looking for a home with a friendly, affectionate cat who would love a cuddle buddy.

With people, Cecily prefers a slower approach. She’ll decide when she’s ready for pets and affection—and when she does, you’ve earned something special. ❤️

When she’s not cuddled up with a cat friend, you’ll find her birdwatching, batting toys across the room, lounging dramatically on a heated blanket, watching Bravo, or accepting tiny offerings of cheese as tribute. 😹

Meet our purring panther- Tailpipe!

Even though we’re trying to fundraise to intake this new kitty family, we can’t forget about the adoptable cats we already have! Flouncy is another kitty who will be joining us at PSP Sterling on Saturday!

This 2 year old playful princess is all love and is very patiently waiting for her perfect humans to find her. Her spine was fractured which causes her tail to hang like a limp noodle and incontinence, so we’re looking for a special family who is able to take care of a special needs cat. The good news though is that she’s a VERY good girl for her clean up time.

If you’re willing to put in a little extra work for a whole lotta love, Flouncy could just be your purrfect match!

🚨URGENT: FUNDS NEEDED 🚨

Over the weekend, one of our volunteers noticed some stray kittens playing in her yard. Concerned about their welfare in general, but also specifically in this heat, she immediately put out some food/water and asked for help in our TCAL chat. As soon as the food went out, more kittens appeared and eventually momma cat did as well- for a total of 6 cats!

While our main TCAL trapper is out of town, another one of our volunteers was able hook us up with an expert trapper who plans to go out tomorrow to try to trap them. However, we need an initial vetting plan for them once they are (hopefully) trapped! We need to get everyone tested and vaccinated and make sure that they’re healthy!

That’s where YOU come in. Can YOU help us fund the initial vetting and spays of this family so that we can proceed with trapping and getting this family out of the danger of a busy neighborhood (with a next door neighbor who is not friendly toward them) in VA’s heat?

Wanna know another adoptable cat that you can meet at PSP in Sterling on June 20th? Meet our socially awkward sweetheart Oswald!

Oswald is a big fluffy kitten with the soul of a retired librarian and the confidence of someone who just realized they forgot why they walked into the room. Loud noises? Scary. Sudden movements? Absolutely not. A friendly cat willing to groom him and show him the ropes? That’s his dream come true.

This sweet, shy boy spends his days bird-watching, hiding under the bed, and accepting grooming from other cats like the pampered little prince he was born to be. Pick him up gently, and he’ll melt into your arms, tucking his head into the crook of your elbow like a baby bird.

Oswald will need a calm home with at least one friendly feline mentor to help him navigate life’s many mysteries. In return, you’ll get a giant emotional support potato with a heart of gold, a powerful purr motor, and a face that always seems just a little bit confused. 😹

If you’re looking for a soft, sweet cuddlebug who may not have all the answers but has endless love to give, Oswald is your guy.

Next in our lineup of adoptable cuties you can meet on the 20th at PSP in Sterling is… Poutine!

Like her namesake, this tortie is impossible not to love. Poutine is a sweet, playful girl who believes that cuddles should happen on ✨her✨ schedule—but once you’ve earned her trust (Churus help tremendously 😹), she’s happy to share her affection.

She’s a true cat’s cat and can usually be found snuggled up with her feline friends. When she’s not cuddling, she’s busy competing in the Spring Toy & Ball Track Olympics, where she’s convinced she’s a gold medalist. 🏅

Poutine gets along well with dogs and would be a wonderful companion for a resident cat. She can be a little shy with new people at first, preferring to observe from a cozy hiding spot, but once she feels comfortable, her charming personality shines.

If you’re looking for a playful, treat-loving tortie with a soft spot for other cats, Poutine may be your perfect match 😻

Introducing the next cat that will be at our adoption event, our affection aficionado, Mac ❤️

This happy guy is famous for his nonstop chirps and chortles—he’s basically a tiny featherless bird trapped in a cat’s body! Mac loves attention, belly rubs (yes, really!), tasty treats, and making plenty of air biscuits while soaking up affection.

Mac is also a big fan of feline friendship. He absolutely adores his foster sister, Quiche, and the two make a wonderful pair. If you’re looking for double the love, double the fun, and double the cuddles, they could be adopted together!

Looking for a cheerful, affectionate companion who will brighten every day? Mac is your guy!
