It’s giving time. Let’s support Mozaic Center 😍

Giving Tuesday is almost here! An act of generosity goes a long way. Thinking of donating? Your contribution can help Mozaic reach its goal to establish a community center!

In the last six years, Mozaic has been able, and continues to serve hundreds of refugee families in the DMV area. We provide many fundamental programs to pave the road of success and integration for refugees arriving here. 🧳

The toughest part of this mission was that Mozaic hasn't had a set location. The time has come for Mozaic Center to see the light in the first quarter of 2023, which will help us deliver all the services in an easier, safer, and more professional manner. 💡

Mozaic Center will be able to deliver services like career development, financial literacy, vocational training, life skills, parenting, mental health support, and more to a wider group of refugees. It will be a place where community members welcome our new neighbors for the purpose of building a better community. 🏫

Thank you 1 Journey Festival for giving us, MOZAIC, an outlet to share our art from all over the world! Congratulations to Feras Nabulsi for acquiring such a rare set of Syrian Mozaic Mother of Pearl Chairs and Game table.

This set was handmade in Syria and is considered a vintage set - over 10 years old! We are very happy to have passed it on to someone who is passionate about the preservation of wooden art.
