In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

Join us for a transformative journey to memorize Surah Al-Baqarah, the longest chapter of the Qur’an, over the course of one year insha Allah. This in-person, adults-only class is designed for busy working professionals and parents who want to build a lasting connection with the Book of Allah at a manageable pace.

Why Surah Al-Baqarah?

The Prophet ﷺ placed special emphasis on this Surah. He SAW ﷺ said in a beautiful Hadith “Recite the Quran, for on the Day of Resurrection it will come as an intercessor for its reciters. Recite the two brightly illuminated chapters, Surah Al-Baqarah and Ali ‘Imran, for on the Day of Resurrection, they will come as two clouds, or two shades, or two flocks of birds pleading for their companions. Recite Surah Al-Baqarah as there is blessing in it, sorrow in leaving it, and the sorcerers cannot defeat it (Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 804, Grade: Sahih according to Muslim).

Program Details

Level: Adults only, in-person

Pace: Half a page memorized per week (Max. of 1 page allowed)

Also covered: Basic tajweed rules

Prerequisite: Students must already know how to read the Qur’an

Recommended for: Working professionals and parents

Completion: Certificates awarded upon finishing the program insha Allah

Time: Sundays, 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM

Cost: $25 per month
Refreshments: Light snacks, coffee & tea provided
