Some conspiracy theories are easy to spot. Others become so familiar that we stop questioning them.

Bradley Davis has one he thinks the continuing education and training field has repeated for long enough: that CE/T is “informal.”

Behind that label is a sector built on instructional design, defined learning outcomes, assessment, documentation, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement.

So why are we still calling it informal?
