Abundant Power Church

Abundant Power Church was planted in 2016 by Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr.
Sheila Allen. The Church is located in Sterling, Virginia, west of
Washington, D.C. near the Washington Dulles International Airport. We
received our 501(c)3 status in March of this year, under the Baptist General Association of Virginia. Our vision is being used of God for Kingdom expansion. We have been called to the magnific

ent challenge of Church planting, both in the Washington, DC metro area and globally. The Lord has spoken several ministries into the heart of APC. He has called us to support abused women and children with compassion and the Word of God. Most recently we have been led to support a community in the U. Virgin Islands by providing care packages as part of our Disaster Relief ministry. As part of the Great Commission command, our “uttermost” call is to
partner with Go Ye Ministries to raise funds for the Sarpawean Village
School building project. Our vision emphasis is placed on training members to embrace living outside the Church walls. The Church has an established virtual bible study (Faith Academy) and a semi-weekly international prayer line. Abundant Power Church is intentional about ministering the Gospel of
Jesus Christ to the world through domestic and international outreach, and to disciple Christians in faith and victorious living by teaching the full Gospel. We are called to be a missional church that shows and shares the love of Jesus, and to join God where He is working, by faith. APC is motivated to enjoy the fivefold ministry through ministerial gifts
identification and actualization. Abundant Power is an Acts Church that has received God’s direction to multiply through church plants by forming core groups that have a passion to see churches flourish based on loving our neighborhoods. We yield to the Holy Spirit for each phase of growth and development. Our core scripture is Ephesians 3:20-21 (KJV)
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
