Is there anything better than a stack of pancakes served fresh off the griddle by local firefighters? Pancake breakfasts are a time-honored tradition giving our communities a chance to tour the stations, meet the crews, and enjoy family fun while supporting local fundraisers! 🔥🥞🚒

🥞Front Range Fire Rescue – Johnstown, CO

Date/Time: Sunday, June 7 | 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM

Location: FRFR Station 1 (101 Telep Ave)

Cost: Adults $7, Seniors $6, Kids (11 & under) $5

Details: Fresh pancakes, coffee, and a special “First Retiree Breakfast” segment.

🥞Foothills Fire & Rescue – Golden, CO

Date/Time: Sunday, June 7 | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Location: Lookout Mountain Station (67 S. Lookout Mountain Rd)

Cost: Adults $10, Kids $5, Under 4 FREE

Activities: Fire truck rides, kids' games, first responder demos, alpacas, and a Flight for Life helicopter landing! Proceeds support firefighter tools and gear.

🥞North Park Fire Rescue – Walden, CO

Date/Time: Saturday, June 7 | 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM

Location: Walden Fire House

Cost: FREE community event

Details: A classic mountain town gathering with pancakes, eggs, hash browns, and sausage.

🥞Elizabeth Firefighters Foundation – Elizabeth, CO

Date/Time: Saturday, June 13 | 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Location: Main Fire Station (Downtown)

Cost: $5 per person, Kids 5 & under FREE

Details: Traditional all-you-can-eat breakfast with pancakes, biscuits, sausage, and gravy.

📋 GET CERTIFIED: Firefighter & Driver Operator Proctor Class.

Ready to evaluate the next generation of Colorado firefighters? The Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control is hosting a Proctor Certification and refresher course in Summit County.

📍 Location: Summit County Fire Authority (Frisco, CO)

📅 Date & Time: Tuesday, June 16, 2026 @ 0900

💰 Cost: $35 per certification ($35 Firefighter / $70 for both)

⚠️ Requirements: Must hold a valid State Firefighter cert (plus Driver Operator cert if taking the DO track). DO students, remember to bring 25' and 100' measuring tapes and your photo ID!

Each year during the Colorado State Fire Fighters Association Fire College, we pause the training and the noise to gather for our most sacred tradition: the ringing of the bell for those who have answered their final call.

We invite fellow first responders, families, and members of the community to join us as we recognize the service and sacrifice of the Colorado first responders we have lost over the past year.

Ceremony Details:
📅 Date: June 19, 2026
🕛 Time: 12:30 PM
📍 Location: Aurora Public Safety Training Center (25950 E Quincy Ave, Aurora, CO)

An Open Invitation:

No uniform requirements - all are welcome as you are.

Open to all first responders, families, and supporters.

Together, we will ring the memorial bell for every brother and sister who passed away this year.

Help Us Honor Them:
If you know of a Colorado first responder who passed away in the last year and should be included in this ceremony, please contact us immediately. We want to ensure every name is heard and every legacy is honored.

We pause to remember their dedication, their service, and the lasting impact they made on the communities they protected.
