Colorado Boys State A week-long, hands-on program to learn about the duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of American citizenship. "One week to shape a lifetime."

A one-week leadership camp which provides high school students, between their junior to senior year, with a hands-on experience in how our government works at local, state, and federal levels. In addition to some classwork, Boys State citizens will campaign for votes as they run for various offices. Two boys will be elected US Senators and will attend Boys Nation in Washington, DC in late July. More than 25,000 young men participate in the American Legion Boys State program each year and more than one million boys have graduated Boys State.

25 years ago, our nation changed forever. Out of profound tragedy came an extraordinary display of courage, sacrifice, and unity, a legacy carried by the brave men and women who stepped forward to protect us.

At Veterans Exploration Therapy, we carry that promise forward every day. Healing is a journey, but you don't have to walk it alone. Today, we honor the fallen, support the living, and remember the quiet strength found in community and the great outdoors.

United we stand. We will never forget.
