Sterling Ruritan Club

Sterling Ruritan Club The Sterling Club has served the community since the 1950s, by providing to the needs of the community and youth of our area.

The Sterling Ruritan building serves as a bingo hall on Thursday evenings, and can also be rented for events. Ruritan National has nearly 30,000 members throughout the United States, that work to improve more than 1,100 local communities. Since the organization’s beginning in 1928, Ruritan Clubs have served America with Fellowship, Goodwill, and Community Service. Ruritan is a civic service organi

zation made up of local clubs in urban areas, small towns and rural communities. Ruritan's purpose is to create a better understanding among people and through volunteer community service, make America's communities better places in which to live and work. The slogan of Ruritan is "Fellowship, Goodwill and Community Service." Club membership represents a cross-section of the community in which the club serves, and is not restrictive with regard to occupation, social position, or any other specific criteria. Unlike most civic service organizations, Ruritan rarely has national programs. Rather, each club surveys its own community as to the needs of that community and then works to meet some of those needs. Nearly all clubs work locally with FFA, 4-H and other organizations serving youth. Nearly one in every three Ruritan clubs sponsors a Boy or Girl Scout unit.

Happy New Year! WE WILL BE OPEN FOR BINGO TOMORROW THURSDAY JANUARY 8th!

Sterling Ruritan Club
183 Ruritan Road, Sterling

Doors open at 5:00 PM
Sales start at 5:30 PM
Dab games start at 6:30 PM
Early birds start at 6:45 PM
Bingo starts at 7:00 PM

Children 13 and older may play with a paid admission if accompanied by an adult.

Bingo game progressives:
Progressive 1, 26 numbers $1500
Progressive 2, 18 numbers $700
Progressive 3, 37 numbers $2600
Progressive 4, 24 numbers $1300

29 games pay $100 each and a guaranteed $1000 jackpot!

There will be NO bingo on Christmas, Thursday, December 25th, or New Years Day, Thursday, January 1st, so that our volunteers may spend time with their families. Our next Bingo will be Thursday, January 8. Doors open at 5:00 pm.
