http://www.vmnbansheereeks.org Registration is now open for the Virginia Master Naturalist (VMN) Banshee Reeks Chapter volunteer training program beginning September 2021 at Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve located at 21085 The Woods Rd in Leesburg, VA.

VMNs are volunteer educators, citizen scientists and stewards that help Virginia conserve and manage natural resources and public lands. Apply by July 1! Spots fill quickly!

Do you enjoy exploring and observing nature? Join the City Nature Challenge 2021 April 30 to May 4 to take pictures of wild plants and animals and load them to iNaturalist! The collective global results will be announced on May 10. This is a great individual, family and (safely distanced) group activity that helps document biodiversity in the Metropolitan DC area, and contribute to science.
