So update...were trying to get young people aware of our youth pride group. Our facilitators are Mikie Morris and Julie Brown who will be at Nuovi Inizi Cafe 118 N. 2nd St. every Monday from 1pm-2:30 pm. Stop in and say hello. We'd love to create a safe and fun environment for all!

Huge shout out to absolutely everyone that helped with our small but amazing PRIDE Day!
Nuovi Inizi - New Beginnings Cafe had many many absolutely beautiful and big hearted people come through our doors Saturday! All ages of people stopped in and drew us pictures, made jewlry, had their faces painted and got some colored hair strands put in while eating free hot dogs and burgers.
Thank you to all those who also purchased from our menu as well...we appreciate your support of our small business! ❤️❤️❤️
Our youth and adult glow party was a blast as well...our young individuals loved having a safe environment to dance, play games, eat junk food, and just be themselves.
God loves all his children and gives us angels to ensure they all know how much they are loved and needed in this world!
Thank you my angels. Especially knowing that sometimes doing the right thing can cause so much discourse.

The Pride Day event at 120 N. 2nd is TEMPORARILY canceled....Pride Walk still occuring at 10 a.m. meet at front of court house.
Due to many factors occuring...
1. Lack of help and volunteers due to health issues
2. Fear mongering individuals
3. Weather
4. Multiple other events

Nuovi Inizi Cafe-118 N. 2nd St Sterling will still be having free burgers & hot dogs 12 pm - 2 p.m. and 20% off all drinks forr anyone wearing pride or any type of positive message clothing!!!!
We want to celebrate Pride and ALL individuals who have struggled with being targeted or treated unfairly due to the gender identity, sexual preference, financial status, culture, religion, mental health issues, addiction, appearance, or disability and survived or just need the support.

2000's Themed club and dance Party!!! Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages as well as glow paint and glow jewlry included :)
ANYONE 18 and up invited $10 door fee to benefit New Pathways Counceling Center Youth Mentoring Program.

Meeting today 12:00 p.m. at Nuovi Inizi Cafe @ McCauleys 118 N. 2nd St. to get some more input and ideas for the 17th Pride. Short notice but would love to have some individuals help brainstorm and help with family fun activities we can do. Message me if you can't make it but want to help. Need a few vendors...no booth fee :)!

The purpose behind this gathering June 17th is to offer support and a place of acceptance and compassion to any individual (gay, straight, trans, culturally diverse) who has experienced being mistreated, felt alone, or has had a lack of family support, etc. We also want to celebrate our differences and educate others about similarities.

Diversity celebration is not about desiring more privelages or pushing beliefs on anyone but about understanding that everyone in all the various elements we come from are the same...HUMAN and deserve to be treated as such equaly regardless of race, culture, religion, gender, or identity.

Looking for local musical talent to do an open mike for our pride event Sat. 6/17 from 12-4 on and for the Su***de & Overdose Awareness event September. Singers, groups, or instrument players. 30-45 min. sets. We have a piano in The Lounge @ McCauley's, stage, and speaker system. Also looking for some vendors that may do some fun activities or small give aways (decals, temporary tattoos, candy) at their booths.

New Pathways Diversity Celebration June 17th! All ages, friends, family, allies, comunity support welcome!

Pride Walk - meet at old courthouse at 10:00 a.m. and walk to the old gas mat cross to other side of the street then up to the Diversity Celebration at 118 N. 2nd St. The Lounge @ McCauley's 12 p.m - 4:00 p.m. Music, Vendors, Games, FREE HOT DOGS & HAMBURGERS(at noon), Celebrate!

7 p.m - 9:30p.m. 120 N. 2nd St McCauleys Lounge!!!!Jr. High and High School Glow Party with DJ $5 entry to help pay for favors and snacks!

10 p.m. - 1 a.m. (maybe 2 a.m. :) 18 plus glow party with DJ and fun activities! $10 entry fee to benefit the New Pathways mentoring program!!!

Hello! My name is Michelle and I am a LGBTQ Ally. Anyone wanting to help plan a pride event for June 17th ? We're meeting at 118 N. 2nd St at noon on June 3rd! Everyone welcome! Allies, families, and LGBTQ culture. All ages welcome!
Looking for a few vendors as well :) I would like to do a pride walk, day entertainment, indoor vendors, and a night show/dance at The Lounge @ McCauley's. If you know anyone interested in participating or in helping put this together please let me know.
PLEASE NO HATER MESSAGES. This is about support for those who may be struggling as well as a celebration of individuality. We can agree to disagree without being nasty.

Come bring your family (no little kids but pre-teen and up)and friends to enjoy the evening with me to bring in 2023! The Lounge at McCauley's120 N. 2nd St. Only $5 per person (helps curve costs a bit but the rest is on me!)and you get a live dj with matching music videos, snacks (fruit, cheese, meats, and sweets)and a refreshment!
