We have grown our footprint so much these past 10 years. We have met incredible families, seen miraculous progress from our clients and we are forever grateful to have YOU as part of our story.

Adaptive golfer Jared Stancil excelling on the course and inspiring others along the way

Jared Stencil was born with Down Syndrome, and his mother, Michele Stancil, says there are some days that are harder than others, but Jared finds a way to always overcome.

“Jared’s one of the strongest people I know,” Michele said. “The things that they have to overcome, the surgeries, the medical appointments, etc. He does persevere.”

When it comes to golf, this is where Jared is at his best.

Jared Stencil is the #1 golfer on his high school golf team, and he has competed in adaptive open tournaments across the country.

Jared loves the popularity too, but not just for himself.

Jared quoted as saying in this article “Be you, Have fun. Be positive and socialize. Talk to people and have a good experience".

According to the CDC: One in four U.S. adults is living with a disability, defined as:

-Serious difficulty walking or climbing stairs.
-Deafness or serious difficulty hearing.
-Blindness or serious difficulty seeing.
-Serious difficulty concentrating, remembering, or making decisions.
-Difficulty doing errands alone.
-Difficulty dressing or bathing.

Adults with disabilities are more likely to have obesity, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, or cancer than adults without disabilities

With these facts, it is important for people with special needs of all ages to get exercise and prioritize their health. That is why it is important to get involved with Inclusively Fit.
