This week, the team at ABC Southeastern Michigan refreshed their CPR and First Aid certifications to stay prepared, informed and ready to respond when it matters most.

From the classroom to the field, ongoing training is part of building a stronger and safer industry for everyone. 💪

Leadership isn’t just about managing people — it’s about knowing when to coach, when to lead and how to help a team grow. 💡

Yesterday’s third session of the Construction Leadership Institute challenged participants to think beyond day-to-day operations and focus on what it truly takes to build strong teams and successful businesses.

Attendees heard directly from ABC SEMI member leaders Luke Beach of Independence Commercial Construction and Jeff Campbell, former owner of Campbell Industrial Contractors, as they shared real-world insight on building companies, overcoming challenges and developing people along the way.

The session wrapped up with a hands-on business exercise focused on identifying bottlenecks, improving efficiency and increasing profitability — reinforcing that strong leadership and strong operations go hand in hand.

Another great day of growth, collaboration and leadership development through ABC SEMI’s Construction Leadership Institute.

A quick stop by the new Sheetz job site at 22 Mile & Van D**e this week to see the team from Robert Clancy Contracting in action. 👏

The crew was hard at work laying out the storm drain water tank — an important piece of the infrastructure happening behind the scenes on projects like this. Always great seeing ABC members out in the field doing the work that keeps Southeast Michigan building.

Shoutout to the RCC team for the hospitality and for showcasing the skill, precision, and professionalism happening every day on merit shop jobsites. 🚧💪

“Full Circle at the Ballpark” features Concrete Floor Treatment and their work helping deliver durable, professional results on a major ballpark project — showcasing the craftsmanship and attention to detail our members bring to every jobsite.

When Gregory Prokop, President of Concrete Floor Treatment, walked into the ballpark this winter to oversee a 7,000-square foot installation inside the new GM Suite, it meant more than just another project. It marked a full-circle moment.
