It is time again for the largest fundraiser in this area. Once a year this area foundation does this for area non profits. It is our only large fundraiser for the year. It is on Tuesday. May 6th . We appreciate every single donation and ask that you share this for us. They take all credit cards
Our group is all volunteers, no paid employees. There are about 30 fosters here and we are blessed to have very dedicated volunteers that help us in Canada . The San Angelo area is flooded with a never ending supply of unwanted dogs , there are 9 rescue groups that I know of in that area. Never enough adopters. It is very difficult to find homes for all our dogs
We started adopting dogs to our Canadian friends in 2019. We also send a few to rescues there. Our processors do the background checks on references , vets, and housing. All our dogs are completely vetted.
We are blessed to have wonderful processors, and, because of that our dogs that didn't work out in their new homes are very few. Last year, out of the 297 dogs adopted ( both here and in Canada) we had 8 that were readopted
That is a very good adoption/ return ratio.. We have some very dedicated fosters in both countries
Our group takes dogs from area shelters, Big Spring, Andrews, Slaton, Mertzon, San Angelo, Eden, Menard, Brownwood, Ballinger, Eldorado, Robert Lee, Colorado City, Lamesa
We also help a couple of other rescues with transport when they need us. Any questions about this fund raiser ? We will be glad to answer.
There is also a donor that gives 3. 1,000.00 prizes to the top 3 501- c that check in and like their page. I will post it tomorrow
For the last 3 years , we have been fortunate and have been a recipient. Competition is tough for these 3 top spots. So. Please vote for CMC2 Rescue when I post the Snider Technologies page. They are local to San Angelo.
