Today the Sterling City FFA Wool Evaluation and Cotton Classifying teams competed at the State CDE contest at Texas Tech University. The Cotton team of Avery Clark, Haylee Jaramillo and Avea Draggett placed to 24th. The Wool team of Sheldon Coxey, Vance Davis, Rylee Abbott and Hadley Johnston place 6th and Sheldon Coxey was the 9th high Individual!!! Congratulation to all we are proud of you.

Sterling City FFA attended the Concho District Banquet today. Our members were recognized for their achievements through out the year at the district level. We also had 4 members compete in the Speaking Development Events (SDE). We are proud to announce that we have two that have advanced to the Area 2 SDE Contest. Here are the results:

The Sterling City FFA Land Evaluation Team of Haylee Jaramillo, Grace Copeland, Paylin Jaramillo and Avea Draggett competed at the state Land Evaluation contest on Thursday. They placed 24th out of 59 team in a tough contest. We are very proud of you and your efforts.

Great News another state qualifying team.

The Sterling City FFA’s Wool, Horse and FBM CDE teams competed at the Area 2 CDE contest on Friday and Saturday. Here are the results.

The Farm and Agribusiness Management of Avery Clark, Haylee Jaramillo, Rylee Abbott and Sofia Rudewick placed 7th as a team and Rylee Abbott placed 7th High individual.

The Horse Evaluation Team of Avery Clark, Haylee Jaramillo, Sheldon Coxey, and Harley Cunningham placed 14th.

The Wool Evaluation Team of Sheldon Coxey, Vance Davis, Wrace Blackwelder and Hadley Johnston placed 3rd🥉and will advance to the state contest held at Texas Tech University on May 2nd.

Get your state FFA qualifier shirts!! Orders are due Sunday April 18 by noon!!! They will be ready on Monday for pick up!! The back will be updated Saturday after results for the remaining area contest are complete.

Today the Sterling City FFA cotton judging team competed at the Area II Cotton Classifying Contest. They placed 4th as a team and qualified for the State Cotton Classifying Contest at Texas Tech University on May 2nd.

6th high individual- Haylee Jaramillio
10th high individual- Avery Clark
19th high individual- Avea Draggett

Today the Sterling City Land Judging Team of Grace Copland, Haylee Jaramillo, Avea Draggett and Paylin Jaramillo competed at the Area Land Judging Contest at Tarleton State University. They place 8th in Area 2.
