Making a Difference for Erath County Students! 🎒📚

The Stephenville Optimist Club generously donated $12,000 from their annual auction to the Erath County United Way to support the First Day School Supply Project.

Because of their incredible generosity, 601 local students will receive school supplies they needed to start the school year prepared and ready to learn.

Partnerships like this demonstrate the power of our community coming together to invest in the success of our children. We are deeply grateful to the Stephenville Optimist Club, its members, donors, volunteers, and auction supporters for making this impact possible.

Thank you for helping us ensure that every child has the tools they need to succeed!

Erath County United Way Day of Action: Neighbors Helping Neighbors

The spirit of community was alive and well during the 2026 Erath County United Way Day of Action as volunteers came together to serve local residents at two project locations across Erath County.

Armed with rakes, trimmers, ladders, and a commitment to making a difference, volunteers dedicated their time and energy to improving the homes and properties of neighbors who needed an extra helping hand. From trimming trees and clearing overgrown areas to attic clean out each project was completed with care, compassion, and teamwork.

At both locations, volunteers worked side-by-side, demonstrating what it means to live united. The Day of Action was more than just a day of service—it was an opportunity to strengthen connections, build relationships, and show residents that their community cares.

Both homeowners shared their gratitude, expressing how much the assistance meant to them and how difficult it would have been to complete the work alone. Seeing the smiles on the faces of both volunteers and homeowners was a powerful reminder that even a few hours of service can create a lasting impact.

The Erath County United Way extends its sincere appreciation to every volunteer who participated, as well as the organizations and community partners who helped make the day possible. Their willingness to give their time and talents exemplifies the mission of United Way: improving lives and strengthening our community.

Together, we can do more.

In every corner of the world, someone is showing up for their community.

Offering support.
Creating opportunity.
Reminding someone they are not alone.

That kind of hope ripples outward.
It strengthens communities, connects neighbors, and inspires others to do the same.

That’s the kind of good we believe in.
The kind that multiplies.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. ❤️🤍💙

Sometimes, hope looks like..a full pantry..a child with a backpack full of school supplies..a helping hand when it’s needed most

Every day, neighbors are showing up for one another in small and big ways, turning moments of need into moments of possibility.
“Live United” for those in need in Erath County.
