Calling all SHS Alumni!!! Before COVID, alumni were invited to join us in singing The Awakening by Joseph Martin at our Baccalaureate service and I would like to bring back that tradition this year!!

We will practice on Sunday, May 17th at 4:00pm at First Baptist Church downtown.

I will have extra music for you to use. Please plan to wear concert black. Also, feel free to listen to remind yourself. I bet you remember a lot of it!!

Looking forward to making music together again!!

Our Varsity Chorale performed beautifully at Festival di Voce today in Pilgrim Chapel at Dallas Baptist University, receiving 1st division ratings from all judges and multiple comments about beautiful vocal tone! They have had a crazy busy schedule lately with UIL straight into STAAR testing, extra school events/competitions and additional performances this week. But today they put their minds and hearts into this program and I could not be happier!

Congratulations to Hannah Allard for being selected as a 2026 Texas All-State Choir member! We are so happy for her and so proud of all of our students that auditioned today! She will perform with the All-State choir in February at the TMEA convention in San Antonio.
