Veterans Benefits Help at SML

Starting this September, Stephen Roy, a Veterans Benefits Advisor with New York State, will be at the Stephentown Memorial Library to help local veterans navigate their VA benefits and services.

Have questions like: What benefits am I eligible for? Why am I not receiving certain services? How do I navigate the VA system? Stephen can help answer these questions and more.

This is an opportunity to receive one-on-one, personalized attention for your individual situation—right here in Stephentown, without having to travel elsewhere.

Monday, September 28 | 12:00–6:00 PM

All veterans are welcome to stop in, no registration needed.

Saturday, August 29 is the LAST DAY to turn in your Summer Reading Logs and get your raffle tickets for a chance to win our awesome Summer Reading prizes!

Don't forget about the Summer Reading Expedition, too! Saturday is also the last day to complete the expedition. If you haven't visited all 5 participating libraries, there's still time to finish your adventure. Once you complete it, you'll receive a FREE ice cream from Stewart's!

Congratulations to This Amazing Young Reader!

We want to give a huge congratulations to this dedicated young reader for completing the Berlin Central School District Library Expedition THREE TIMES!

And that's not all—he also completed his Summer Reading paper after reading for an incredible 1,200 minutes total!

That's a whole lot of reading and an amazing amount of dedication. We are so proud to celebrate our young readers and all the hard work they put into Summer Reading!

Our dino friends are on their way to turn in their Summer Reading packets and Expedition Papers, and the deadline is coming up fast!

Everything is due by Saturday, August 29th.
