St Lawrence Junior Tammies Since 1981 St Lawrence Jr Tammies have been keeping the central Pennsylvania area entertained with their vast knowledge of Tamburitza music and dance.

Officially formed in May of 1981, the Saint Lawrence Junior Tamburitzans have been keeping the central Pennsylvania area entertained with their vast knowledge of Tamburitza music and dance. Today, thirty-two years later, the St. Lawrence Jr. Tammies coninue to play at standing room only crowds at their home, the Saint Lawrence Lodge 13, Steelton, PA. A few of their most memorable performances incl

ude, the St. Lawrence Lodge picnics, the celebration of Croatian Independence Day in June, also, the Saint Lawrence Feast Day celebration in August, in which the Jr. Tammies parade down Second Street to the Tambura Mass at the church. They performed at nearly all the Croatian Fraternal Union Tamburitza Festivals since being in existence, which included performances at Walt Disney World's Epcot Center for the public, also three trips to Zagreb, Croatia in 1997, 2004 and 2013. Any child who wants to learn, sing and play music of our beautiful homeland, ages 7 through 21, may join the Tammies. Please contact one of the Directors, a member of the Parents Organization, or any Lodge Officer and they will direct you to the proper contact. Practices and sign ups start in early September. The St. Lawrence Junior Tammies are performing in Indianapolis July 8th and 9th!! The group has chartered a bus leaving on Friday, July 7th at 6:00am and will return the 9th. Bus departure from Indianapolis -late afternoon July 9th. Bus will be leaving from and returning to the Prince of Peace Church rear parking lot.

If anyone is interested in traveling with the group to spend a fun-filled weekend please contact our President Jessica Spandler, Vice President Amanda Ofak, Secretary Kristen Atanasoff, Treasurer Lori Topos, or message the group here!

Cost of the bus is $75/seat.

The kids are selling pies right in time for the holidays! They are made locally (Morgantown) and frozen so you can bake them whenever you want. Each pie is $16. Orders are due Monday October 31 by noon. See your nearest Jr Tammie to place your order!
