We’re on our way to getting the train back on the tracks and are hopeful we’ll be running in time to catch some of those beautiful fall colors! 🍁🍂

There’s still work happening behind the scenes, but we’re making progress and getting closer.

Unfortunately, Big South Fork Scenic Railway will be cancelling our scheduled train rides while we take care of some required operational paperwork.

We know cancellations are disappointing, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Guests with tickets for the affected runs will be contacted regarding their reservations.

🚂 TRAIN CANCELLATION NOTICE

Due to unforeseen operational circumstances, all scheduled train runs this week have been cancelled.

All Big South Fork Scenic Railway scenic train runs scheduled for Wednesday, September 16 through Sunday, September 20, 2026 have been cancelled.

This includes all scheduled departures on:

• Wednesday, September 16
Thursday, September 17
• Friday, September 18
• Saturday, September 19
• Sunday, September 20

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding.

Please continue to follow the Big South Fork Scenic Railway page for updates regarding future train operations.
