Colorado Gives Day is December 9, and this community needs us all.

Every day, Better Tomorrow and our four programs walk alongside survivors, kids, youth, and q***r community members. Whether you’ve volunteered, donated, shared a post, or simply believed in this work, you’ve helped someone feel safer and less alone. Truly, thank you.

As funding shifts and needs grow, your support on Colorado Gives Day helps keep our doors open. Your support becomes fresh food in a survivor’s fridge, a warm bed after fleeing violence, a child’s trauma informed interview, school trainings that protect students, crisis support at any hour, and a space where q***r and trans community members feel safe walking through the door.

It becomes exactly what someone needs.

What an amazing few days of learning, reflection, and community. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the From Awareness to Action Training Series and showed up ready to listen, ask questions, and lean into the hard but necessary conversations about power, privilege, and healing.

Your willingness to engage in these conversations is action in itself, a powerful step toward creating a community rooted in understanding, equity, and accountability. That’s how real change begins. ✨

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible presenters and facilitators, Regan Byrd and our dedicated Better Tomorrow team: Hannah Kaufmann, Alison Doglio, Chelsie Holmes, Michanaé Edwards, Julia Lowenthal, Cassandra Baca, and Mark Fitzgerald (opening and closing remarks). Together, they represented the heart of Better Tomorrow’s programs, Advocates of Routt County, Brighter World Child Advocacy Center, COMMA Projects, and Q***r Futures Resource Center.
