Would you know what to do if a friend, coworker, family member or neighbor told you they were experiencing abuse?

Supporting survivors starts long before someone walks through the doors of a victim services organization. It starts with community members who understand the realities of domestic violence and human trafficking, recognize harmful myths and know how to respond without judgment.

Join Advocates of Routt County during From Awareness to Action for conversations about Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking.

You don’t have to work in this field to have a role in creating a safer community.

Denim Day is about coming together as a community to stand with survivors of sexual violence.

This Wednesday, wear your denim as a way to say: we believe you, we support you, and you are not alone. Every small act of solidarity helps create a community where survivors feel seen, heard, and cared for.

We’re in this together.

Tag us or send us your photos so we can share 💙

Sending a huge thank you to everyone who came out to Speak—you made it such a great event. The energy, the conversations, and just the overall vibe were on point. We appreciate your dedication to survivors of sexual violence.

We loved hearing all the important stories. We laughed, we cried, and we built community.

Big shoutout to everyone who helped put it together behind the scenes as well, we couldn’t have done it without you!

And to everyone who showed up and shared a piece of themselves, thank you for making it what it was. 🫶🏼

SPEAK 2026 🔥
This isn’t just an event—it’s a moment. A room full of voices, ideas, and people ready to step up, stand out, and be heard.
We’re bringing the energy, the stories, and the conversations that actually matter. Whether you’re here to grow, connect, or find your voice—this is where it starts.
April is Sexual Assault Awarenessyu Month, and SPEAK is our fundraiser dedicated to raising awareness, supporting survivors, and creating real change. This year’s theme is Believe — because we believe survivors. And when survivors know they will be believed, they are more likely to speak up.
