Fund Our Athletes

Fund Our Athletes The heart, desire and talent of an athlete should never be stifled because of financial need. Americans live sports!

Whether you are a pro athlete or a weekend warrior, our developing elite athletes and para athletes need your financial support... perhaps for something as basic as a healthy meal, coaching or the ability to travel to the next competition. You can lend a helping hand to our US accomplished athletes and para athletes with your direct financial support to Fund Our Athletes. FOA was born in Steamboa

t Springs, Colorado (home of over 80 Olympians) out of Val’s lifelong passion for athletes and their unconditional work ethic that is necessary to succeed at the highest level. For years Val watched athletes, para- athletes and their families sacrifice everything to represent their country and their sport. FOA could no longer sit back and watch these deserving athletes not have the opportunity to achieve their athletic dream because of a lack of funding.

Joey Mantia is leaving nothing to chance. Almost as soon as he could step out of his skates last season, he was sitting down at his computer and modifying his entire training program. Autumn in Cooperstown: As beautiful as an October day can get along Otsego Lake in Cooperstown, NY. One of the many historic treasures of this beautiful region is this small castle—known as Kingfisher Tower. Privately owned, the Gothic Revival castle dates back to 1876, built for Edward Cabot Clark—lawyer, businessman and investor. It was Clark who was credited with co-founding the Singer Sewing Machine Company. Clark invested significant funds in Isaac Singer’s vision and the “rest was history”. Clark was a diverse man, he owned The Dakota on West 72nd Street in New York City. The man who designed The Dakota, Henry Janeway Hardenbergh, also designed this tower for Clark. The 60 foot tall “folly” was considered a bit frivolous at the time, but as years have passed—its lore lives on. The property is private, tucked away amidst the towering pines there. Such terrific history associated with this and the man who had it built.
