⭐Youth Adventure Camp for ages 5-12 on Mondays from 8:30am-Noon and Fridays from 12:30-4:00pm

⭐Outdoor Explorers Camp for ages 13-17 on Mon/Wed/Fri from 8:30am-4:00pm

What is National Adaptive Sport Day? 💫

It’s a day to recognize the impact of adaptive sports and the ongoing push for inclusion in athletics for people with disabilities.

April 28th also marks a major moment in history-the signing of regulations that enforced Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the landmark legislation that barred discrimination against people with disabilities in federally funded programs.

Today (and every day), we celebrate the strength, talent, and purpose within the disability community.

Last August, STARS sent two staff members to Bariloche to launch an instructor exchange with Fundación Desafío Bariloche; an inspiring volunteer-run program serving 400+ participants each year. 🌎

In March, we welcomed four of our new friends here . They helped teach snowsports, learned about a variety of adaptive equipment, and even skied together in our Mountain Challenge!

We’re so excited to keep building this partnership. 💙

Update on STARS Adaptive Horseback Riding:

For 5 incredible years, our adaptive horseback riding program at Zen Ranch has changed lives—thanks to the generosity of the Jensen family, our dedicated team, and our amazing community. 🐴

As the ranch is being listed for sale, we’ll be transitioning out this month and pausing horse programming for summer 2026. This time will allow us to regroup, build partnerships, and create an even stronger, sustainable program for 2027.
