October Wrap-Up at Hayden Play & Learn! 🎃

Thank you to everyone who made it this month — whether you were here often or just when your week allowed. Every bit of interaction and presence counts.

Here are a few simple fall play ideas you can do at home if you want to keep the theme going:

0–12 mo: Fall Sensory Lap Play
Snuggle baby on your lap with a scarf, leaf, or mini pumpkin to explore. Talk about what they’re feeling.

12–24 mo: Shadow Play
Dim the lights, grab a flashlight, and make shadows with your hands or toys. Let them chase or copy them.

24–36 mo: Pumpkin Seed Scooping
Set out a muffin tin, bowl, and spoon with pumpkin seeds to scoop and sort.

You’re doing such a good job, even on the messy weeks.

Steamboat Baby Group has Community Expert MJ Brock MOT, OTR/L, CBIS Occupational Therapist coming to chat about development milestones at Discovery Learning Center this Tuesday. South Routt Play and Learn has Community Expert Marissa Glomboske RN, CLC, Lactation Consultant coming to visit this Thursday. We hope to see you and your littles at one of these events!

Baby Group’s November Calendar is here! Yay! 🍁

Check out this month's group meetings at Discovery Learning Center. We will get to hear about developmental milestones and information for pelvic floor therapy from Community Expert MJ Brock MOT OTR/L, CBIS. On November 11th we will be celebrating International Group Connection Day with a Friendsgiving Meal.

We will have Community Expert Brenna Lynam from Routt County Public Health coming on the 18th to talk to us about car seat safety. Please note there is NO Play and Learn the last week of November for Thanksgiving Break!

South Routt's November Calendar is here! Yay! 🍂

South Routt Play and Learn will be celebrating our Community all month long! We have four wonderful Community Experts coming to speak with us this month. Marissa Glomboske, RN, CLC Lactation Consultant will join us on the 6th. Andrew Boness from the Fatherhood Program of Routt County will be joining us for National Group Connection day on the 11th. Newborn Networks very own Donna Starbuck and Lisa Nelson will be coming out to talk to us about their programs, Parents as Teachers and Raising a Reader.
