Trail Maintenance Endowment Fund

Trail Maintenance Endowment Fund To provide permanent support for non-motorized trail and trailhead maintenance on our public lands.

The purpose of the Fund is to provide a permanent endowment to support specific non-motorized trail and trailhead maintenance projects on public lands within the current geographical boundaries of Routt and Moffat Counties. A board, consisting of a land manager from the city, USFS, BLM, and State Parks, as well as an appointee of the Steamboat Springs Chamber president and two citizens with divers

ified trail interests appointed by YVCF, will determine trail maintenance priorities and projects each year, based on need. Funds are distributed to the land manager who determines how best to conduct the trail maintenance.

How many more days left on your trails this season? If tomorrow's one of them (Tue, 10/29) wrap it up tastefully with a pint at Mountain Tap Brewery. It's the final of our extended play as "King of the Mountain Tap." Each beer gets you a token good for a $1 donation toward your choice of awesome local causes, including the Trail Maintenance Endowment Fund. Cheers! 🍻

Every Tuesday this month join the feel-good fun as Yampa Valley Community Foundation's Trail Maintenance Endowment Fund is a featured beneficiary of Token Tuesdays: 1️⃣ hit the trails, 2️⃣ refuel with a Mountain Tap beer, 3️⃣ receive a token, 4️⃣ drop it in the box for trail maintenance, ♻️ repeat. “Our trails are such a big part of this community”, says Jon Wade, owner of The Steamboat Group. “They are an outlet that provides happiness and adventure for so many people and we wouldn’t be Yampa Valley without them.
