A huge thank you to the wonderful team from DCCU for spending time with us at Valley Mission!

Your team jumped right in to help serve lunch, tackle some light cleaning, and organize and put away donations. Your willingness to lend a hand wherever it was needed made a difference, and your time and service were truly appreciated.

We are so thankful for community partners who choose to give back and serve alongside us. Thank you again, DCCU, for supporting Valley Mission! 💚

‼️One more student needs our help getting him ready for the new school year‼️
Thanks to this wonderful community, he’s already set on school supplies and his book bag. Now we just need to complete his back-to-school wardrobe. 💙
Here’s what he still needs, he’s heading into 4th grade.

*Men’s large shirts
*Large sweats
*Large athletic shorts
*Jeans, size 32x30
*Shoes, size 9½
If you’re able to donate any of these items, please reach out by email so we can track what’s covered and update this post as needs are met. [email protected]

***Update, this need has been met for the supplies***

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible donors who helped get our kids here ready for the school year. 💙
Because of your generosity, our kids are prepared and confident with supplies. We don't take that lightly, and neither do the families you've supported.

We're only lacking a few things:

Dividers
Calculators
Pocket folders (both boy and girl)
Headphones
Index cards
Sticky notes

If you'd like to help close the gap, you can drop these items off with us here at the shelter. 1513 W Beverley Street Staunton, VA 24401
